Biography —

David Carttar is a Lawrence native with B.A. degrees in Geography and Architectural Studies from KU and a Master of City Planning degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He spent three decades helping develop geographic methods to measure and understand the risk of natural hazards to the built environment. He and his Chilean-American family love Latin American music, art, language, and literature.
