Language and Culture in Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Three levels available: Level I (SPAN 324, 328, 346), Level II (SPAN 424, 428, 346 or 440), and Level III (SPAN 522, 471, 440).
- For Summer 2023, the anticipated housing is host families.
- Program dates are May 20-June 30.
Language, Literature, and Culture in Barcelona, Spain
- Two levels available: Intermediate (SPAN 220) and Advanced (SPAN 424, 428, 440).
- For Summer 2023, the anticipated housing is host families.
- Program dates are June 8-July 21.
Language and Culture in Salvador, Brazil
- Earn six credits of beginning, intermediate, or advanced level Portuguese.
- The housing will be host families.
- Program dates are June 1-July 26.

Financial Aid & Scholarships are available for study abroad programs. Study Abroad & Global Engagement offers financial need scholarships for summer programs and some other departments also offer study abroad scholarships. You can read more about these options online as well as other study abroad scholarship and funding opportunities. If you would like to speak with a financial aid advisor in Study Abroad & Global Engagement, you can schedule a virtual or in-person appointment. KU Study Abroad & Global Engagement scholarship deadline is March 15. Other deadlines may vary.
