Corey (Columbia, Missouri) is a Masters student in the Linguistics department. His is interested in a wide range of topics in the field of Linguistics, but specifically in Phonetics, Phonology, and Second Language Acquisition, as well as how second language learners acquire the phonological rules present in their second language. 

He received his BA in Information Technology and a minor in Business from the University of Missouri in 2010. He received a second BA in Romance Languages with an Emphasis in Spanish in 2019 from the same institution. Corey is a member of the Linguistics Graduate Student Association (LGSA) and has served as the MA student representative during Spring and Fall 2021 semesters.
