Sebastián Leal-Arenas is a qualified English Language Teacher who graduated with First Class Honours from Universidad Católica Silva Henríquez, Chile. He is currently a second-year M.A. candidate in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Kansas. His research focuses on the portrayal of gender roles in literature, the different varieties of pronunciation in English, and the study of native-like second language acquisition.
