Mira Briana E. Haydu
College of Liberal Arts & Sciences - Spanish & PortugueseMira-Briana Elizabeth Haydu is a University of California Riverside Honors and Sigma Cum Laude B.A. graduate in Hispanic Literature. She is currently finishing her Master’s degree and has been a Graduate Teaching Assistant in and for the Department of Spanish and Portuguese for the last two years. Her research interests include, but are not limited to, transatlantic literature and historical revisionism that concentrates on subaltern groups in the Americas: African and Indigenous peoples, Jews, and women. This summer, she presented research at the “Encuentro de colombianistas del S.XXI” conference in Ibagué, Colombia.
