On October 3rd, we will be welcoming Dr. Amy Austin, from the University of Texas at Arlington, as the invited speaker for the 2019 Lecture of the Graduate Association for the Department of Spanish and Portuguese (GRASP) Fall Conference. Her presentation/talk, titled "Reading Ramon Llull's Arbor Scientiae (1295-96) Against The Grain," will be held at the Burge Union ​in Forum A from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Please join us after for a post-talk reception. More details will be provided during the conference. 

Also, Spanish & Portuguese graduate students will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Austin over coffee and donuts at Wescoe 2648 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
