Cayce Elder specializes in Early Modern Peninsular literature with an emphasis in the Spanish Comedia. She holds an MA in Spanish from Middlebury College and a BA in Spanish from Baylor University. Her current research examines the use of the Spanish Comedia in projects of national identity at different moments in Spanish history.
